We implement industry-standard security measures including 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, regular security audits and penetration testing, restricted access controls for employee data access, and two-factor authentication for all internal systems. While we take every precaution, no digital transmission or storage method is 100% secure. If a data breach occurs that materially affects your rights, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by applicable law.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for up to 2 years after deletion (for legal and fraud prevention purposes). Order and transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law. QR scan and alert logs are retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted.
MissAlert is not directed at or intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately at privacy@scanitup.com and we will take prompt action to delete such data.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if you have an account) or by displaying a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
